Liverpool Hosts Crown Princess

August 21, 2010
Filed under: cruise — freetraffic @ 10:38 pm

Last Saturday one of the biggest cruise ship Crown Princess stopped in dock in Liverpool. The ship was sailing around British Isles. In length the British Isles is 315,121,673.9 square metres long. In the British Isles there are over 6000 islands including England and Ireland. The stunning Princess Crown is the part of Fred Olsen cruises which can carry upto four thousand eight hundred people including crew and passengers.

While touring around the Isles, the cruise ship stopped for eleven hours in Liverpool. This gave the passengers the opportunity to view iconic histories of Liverpool which also included the football stadium of Liverpool. From Liverpool it head towards Greenock which is on the west coast of Scotland but before Greenock it would stop in Belfast.

The cruise of the British Isles takes 12 days. Per person the cruise cost can be upto £1,956 and it’s worth it. Princess Crown began operation in 2006. And from 2009 during the winter the Princess Crown sails to the Caribbean and in the summer it sails to Europe. It is one of some luxury cruises which has built in apartments on board and it might even be the only one which has that. I have always wanted to try luxury cruises again and after seeing the Crown Princess in Liverpool I definitely am going on a cruise soon. And I think it might even be Crown Princess this winter which sails to the Caribbean. I am sure my wife would love that surprise.

My previous cruise has been in Princess cruises , which was a great vacation as we sailed in the Mediterranean Sea. Around the World cruise holiday has always been a very popular one for the families. Most people say cruises are for elder generation but these days all cruises have activities for people with any ages. So anyone can go on a cruise and have a fantastic time.

Worlds Finest Cruise Lines Are

August 17, 2010
Filed under: cruise — freetraffic @ 3:06 pm

There are several cruise lines competing against each other. The ratings of below cruises are done on a bi monthly basis to include new ships, on board policies and product enhancements. The Royal Cruising Society members evaluate the scores for the cruise lines judging their activities bi monthly. cunard cruises, regent cruise, crystal cruises , Royal Caribbean cruises, celebrity cruises have always been features in top ten but will they feature again?? We will find out soon.

Here are the top ten cruise lines.

In number one we have the World Of Residensea. Seabourn Cruise Line is in second place. At position three we have Regent cruise lines (top ten for them again). Then at number four we have Silversea cruise line. Then we have Crystal cruise line at number five. Then we have Sea Dream yacht club at number 6. A Cunard cruise line are in number 7 and was only launched in 2004 as the largest and the most expensive liner ever built but that was short lived. Oceania cruises are in number eight. At number 9 we have Azamara cruise line. Azamara is a part of Royal Caribbean cruises as it was created by them. It has been around since 1986, at number ten we have the Windstar cruise line.

There we have the list of finest cruise lines. Other famous cruises such as Voyages To Antiquity and Celebrity Cruises are in position 12 and 13 respectively and have fallen down by 4 places each.

This just shows that there is a massive amount of competition in the cruising business nowadays. Luxury cruises can be very expensive but there is always some sort of promotions and offers going on in the cruise lines. So if you are looking for a cruising holiday it might be a better idea to search online thoroughly and find a good offer. Then let us know how you found it and how your holiday was, would love to hear about it.

Go To Caribbean For A Cruise

March 26, 2010
Filed under: cruise — freetraffic @ 12:36 pm

If you are looking for cruises or holidays, you should definitely think about Caribbean being the next destination. There are more than 6,000 islands in the World to choose from while selecting a holiday to an island, but Caribbean island should definitely be in the top of the list for many people looking for a holiday.

The reason I am recommending Caribbean island is because it offers something for everyone from family, couples to singles. For couples getaways I suggest Bermuda as it has a great range of restaurants, bars and beautiful resorts. Jamaica is also a perfect romantic destination with lovely beaches and great rum parties in various bars and clubs. These destinations are a must see at least once in your lifetime. Another two places ideal for romantic couples are St. Lucia and St. Vincent. You will get to see amazing blue water and white sandy beaches in these two destinations. You can roam around St. Vincent and look at places where Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed. At these destinations you might even meet some celebrities while your there.

For family adventure it is definitely the Bahamas. Royal Caribbean cruises has to finish in Bahamas for a family. Grand Bahama Island and Atlantis on Paradise Island are two beautiful resorts of Caribbean, which is idle for family. Aruba is another family destination because of it’s friendly surroundings and many off site resort activities such as water sports.

Mostly people from Europe get a good deal with all inclusive packages for a trip to Caribbean island. I was lucky enough to find a good cruising deal to Caribbean from UK last year. The best part of getting packages of cruise holidays is that you get to travel Europe as well as Caribbean island. There are many packages to choose from so make sure you choose a good one. Always do some research online before buying holidays. Read reviews of what people have said about the cruise. Read their thoughts and their experiences. This can prevent holiday in hell experience for you.

Use A Travel Agent To Find Your Dream Cruise

When you think about travel, what do you think of first? Which aspects of travel are important, which are essential, and which ones can you take or leave? You be the judge.

Travel agents, since they are expert in this field, can present you with a number of options of cheap holiday places as well as flights. In fact, they are familiar with the tricks of this trade and thus can help you find the best possible travelling options within your budget. Travel agents have to keep themselves up to date if they are going to be able to compete for your business. Travel agents can also help you save money on flight, hotel rooms, cruises, and more; but what about online travel agencies? While people worry that Internet travel agencies could scam you or provide low-quality service, there are actually a number of benefits to choosing an online travel agency, providing that you pick the right one.

Travel agents sell 87 percent of cruises, 81 percent of all tours and packages, 51 percent of all airline tickets, 47 percent of all hotels and 45 percent of all car rentals. Travel agents do not have to thoroughly investigate suppliers. In general, they are required only to stay current with reasonably available information, such as what is in trade journals and magazines. Travel agents are a God-send when you have not travelled to a destination in some time. Particularly, an agent who specializes in destinations that interest you.

Travel agents will confer with an array of both published and Internet sources for information on airline and hotel accommodations. The agent must be able to get the best possible arrival and departure times of airlines that meet the needs of the client. Travel agents had suspended sale of tickets of the two airlines on December 29. Travel agents can have knowledge of the area as well as such things as transportation, accommodations, and hospitality issues.

Those of you not familiar with the latest on travel now have at least a basic understanding. But there’s more to come.

Ask the agent to give you specifics about how she can help with your trip. Ask friends for recommendations — eventually someone will offer a glowing recommendation of an agent. Remember that different agents will have different expertise. Ask your agent about the nitty-gritty details of your trip, including airport connections, bus and taxi services, tipping, foreign currency conversion, and safety concerns such as government-issued travel advisories and warnings. Most important, get a phone number that you can use for after-hours emergencies (at the airport early Sunday morning after your wedding, for instance) and on your trip, preferably toll-free, or collect if calling from outside the country.

Travel agents generally work regular hours and spend most of their time at a desk. Hours may be longer during holiday and vacation seasons. Travel agents inform consumers about the price, availability and other details of various travel options and make reservations and sell tickets to the travellers for the travel services they choose.

Students learn the basic skills needed to operate a computer reservation system. This program consists of two modules including a travel career development module and an interactive reservation system module. Students participating in this program usually arrange their stay in the United States through a recruiting agency that has been accredited by the U.S. The fees charged by travel agents vary significantly.

By Gary Mooney

Many corporation’s customer base has become more ‘global’ in recent years and as a result many business people have to travel more widely; with the global popularity of the Internet, even tiny companies can compete, and have customers anywhere. This is putting an increasing strain on business travelers who often become stressed and fatigued at the constant need to be in another part of the world. Business travel tips are useful to regular travelers by ensuring certain procedures are carried out every time they travel to reduce the possibility of wasted trips.

One thing that you will not be able to avoid at some point if you take enough trips is that of lost luggage which can be a real problem if your baggage contains information relevant to your trip. To reduce the chance of a wasted journey, always carry anything that is relevant to your trip in your hand carried luggage.

This makes a great deal of sense because you are protected should your main luggage go missing then your meeting can still go ahead and hopefully your main luggage will be located in due course. Regular travelers know that the main business travel tip when packing is to keep things simple by only including exactly what you need for the journey and that way you won’t be out of luck if luggage gets lost.

For simplicity just work out how many days you will be at your destination and pack accordingly, remembering to pack a few items of casual wear plus just enough pieces of footwear to last; this would be one pair for work and another pair for play. All that is left once this is done is to include your toiletries and other business documentation which you might use.

A little business travel tip that flight attendants use when they pack is to roll up their clothes, then place them into cylinders which compresses the clothing and reduces the number of creases. To go one step further, if you want to ensure that even if food or drink are spilled on your clothes you won’t need them laundered; use dark colors which are also handy because creases don’t show as much.

If you are working to a tight schedule and the inevitable delay happens then you want to know you can attend a meeting at a moments notice and the way to freshen up is by using those hand and face wipes that come in travel packs. If you only intend to be away for a couple of days, a normal charge for a cell phone and other electronic equipment may be enough but if the trip is longer you may need to take chargers with you for convenience.

As it is possible to carry out work while you fly, by making the best use of this time you will be able to spend some time relaxing in the evening and perhaps a little site seeing. By following these few quick and handy tips you should find that you will not be on the back foot and no matter what happens during your travel on business, you should have a successful trip.

Your business trips do not have to be boring and stressful if you apply the business travel tips in this article as they will allow you the opportunity to savor your free time even more.

Business Travel Tips #2

Business travel is on the rise as an increasing number of companies have customer bases all over the world; despite improvements in global communication systems. This is putting an increasing strain on business travelers who often become stressed and fatigued at the constant need to be in another part of the world. There are some things you can do to reduce the amount of stress and fatigue that occurs and some interesting business travel tips and information that is supplied in this article.

One situation that you will not be able to avoid at some point if you take enough trips is that of lost luggage which can be a real problem if your baggage contains information relevant to your trip. So, wherever possible, pack as much as you can into your carry on luggage.

This makes a great deal of sense because you are covered should your main luggage go missing then your meeting can still go ahead and hopefully your main luggage will be located in due course. As far as your main luggage is concerned, make sure you only pack just enough for the trip and this is probably the most useful business travel tip to bear in mind.

The easiest way to do this is to only take one pair of casual shoes and work pair; keep your work clothes to exactly what you need for the tip and likewise clothes for when you are on your leisure time. With the clothing taken care of the only items left to pack are your toilet bag plus any additional documentation that would be useful but not necessary for the meeting.

A little business travel tip that flight attendants use when they pack is to roll up their clothes, then place them into cylinders which compresses the clothing and reduces the number of creases. The last thing you want on a business trip is having clothes laundered because something was spilt on them, this can easily be avoided by wearing dark cloths which are able to absorb stains more easily.

Another little trick that experienced travelers use is to carry hand and face wipes with them which can freshen your appearance in seconds without the need of a washroom. Remember before you leave to charge up your cell phone and other electronic devices, look in to getting some form of mobile or wireless internet access package so that you can work on the move.

Many business travelers now use the traveling time to do as much work as possible which then allows them some personal time to themselves after work which in turn reduces stress. By following these few quick and handy tips you should find that you will not be on the back foot and no matter what happens during your travel on business, you should have a successful trip.

Business travel does not have to be all work and by using the business travel tips shown here, there should be time for rest and relaxation too.

Business Travel Tips #1

Even those working in small businesses are finding that they need to travel more frequently these; even the smallest company can have customers anywhere in the world now. It is business travelers though who are feeling the strain with increasing stress and fatigue levels. Hopefully the following business travel tips will help you make the most of your travel time, and perhaps even enjoy the trip along the way.

One situation that you will not be able to avoid at some point if you take enough trips is that of lost luggage which can be a real problem if your baggage contains information relevant to your trip. To reduce the chance of a wasted journey, always carry anything that is relevant to your trip in your hand luggage.

In order to accomplish this, make do with a pair of casual shoes and a pair of business shoes only, and be sure to only bring enough work clothes to last you through the trip. This will leave room for toiletries, any other extra business materials you’ll need, and so on.

You should also be able to use a smaller piece of luggage if you roll all of your clothes into a cylinder shape and not fold them as this way they will take up less space and it will reduce the likelihood of creasing which is a business travel tip that flight attendants use all the time. If you carry dark clothing with you it can help if anything is spilt on them as it is harder to see stains on dark clothes.

With all this done, it should be quite easy to just get off the plane and use a couple of freshen-up wipes (those in travel packs) that will make you feel and smell better before you meet your customer. If you are only away for a couple of days make sure your cell phone and any other electronic equipment are fully charged so you can continue working at your convenience.

There is nothing worse than sitting in a hotel room at night working when you could be out exploring the city you are in so make use of the flight time and try to get important preparation work done then. Regular business travelers make these preparations before every trip to ensure the business side of it goes without a hitch.

Business travel does not have to be all work and by using the business travel tips shown here, there should be time for rest and relaxation too.
