If you are starting to plan a Southern Utah vacation then of course the Arches National Park should be one of the main stops on your checklist. But once there what should you see? What attractions do you just not want to miss?

1. Delicate Arch
The beautiful and most famous Arch is the delicate Arch. This beautiful structure appears to be isolated on top of a magnificent canyon. It makes for one of the greatest pictures which you will be able to see while you are in this state.
It is an extremely interesting site and is well worth the hike. There are two ways you can view this breathtaking rock. The first is an easy hike which will take you to a great lookout where you will be able to see the structure.
The second way to see it is by taking a longer hike which will take more time, but it will bring you up to the rock and you will be able to see it up close. If you have the time and energy the second hike will help you experience more from this natural wonder. Taking the harder hike can give you a better view and get you some great exercise as well.
2. Broken Arch
The broken Arch is not really broken. Instead this arch has a small cut which appears to be a major crack along the top of the rock. However this crack does not actually go all the way through so technically it is not broken.
Even so it is a wonderful attraction to see and by walking under the Arch you can tell just how big this structure actually is.
The hike to this rock is relatively easy and is just under a mile.
3. Double Arch
The double arch is an unbelievable sandstone formation and it makes for a great picture. This consists of two giant arches that are side by side of one another and together create one massive structure. You can easily walk up to this rock and the actual structure can be seen from the road.
4. Windows Section
The Windows section is a site you do not want to miss, because it is the place where all the large arches in the park gather around. You may have to hike all around this area to see specific structures, but it is something that will offer a number of great photo opportunities.
Of course the Arches National Park is just one of the great Southern Utah National Parks to see, don’t let it take up all of your time.
